Research and development of physical sensing system that can monitor the pressure of points of contact. Starting with a handshake with the intention to scale up to a more complex system to evaluate tree-climbing.
Sensors were handmade from pressure sensitive fabric, conductive thread, copper tape, copper wire, and faux leather.
Data was processed using a Beagle Bone Black single board computer, programmed using Python.
