Transport 1 was installed in the hallway of the Kentucky Museum of Art & Craft. The wooden handles, red button, and a small stool just below the work gave museum visitors of all ages the hint to participate. After pushing the button participants would gaze down into the viewer and be transported to the top of a tree. Different side-by-side 3-dimensional images were rotated during the duration of the installation. The images were taken with a 3D camera in trees around Louisville, Kentucky.
The first iteration of this series was completed during my artist-in-residence at the Kentucky Museum of Art & Craft in 2012. This work is now part if their permanent collection.
