The Free Tree Climbing Society was founded in 2013 and enjoyed a short but lively existence with a handful of members. The group organized meet-ups on facebook and then we would climb trees. The goal was to build a community to climb, learn and have fun together.
"Free" refers to both the method and the cost. The membership is and will always be free. The method of climbing uses no ropes or harnesses. I hope to revive the group after completing my MFA.
