Cherokee Park Nest

This functional human nest was inspired by a birds nest. The Olmsted Park grounds keepers had recently attempted to eliminate invasive honey suckle and left the cut limbs scattered throughout Cherokee Park in Louisville, Kentucky. Over the course of 2 days I gathered as many limbs as I could in a 250 foot radius of the selected tree and then constructed them into a nest.
